Comes to the Netherlands in the summer
Mercedes-Benz E-Class Limousine
Mercedes-Benz has further improved the E-Class. The model is smarter, cleaner and has a slightly changed appearance.
The Mercedes-Benz E-Class is ready for a new round. The model is equipped with updated headlights with the latest LED technology, a modified grille and front bumper and new rear lights. New finishes and the latest version of Mercedes ’MBUX information media system are the most important changes to the interior. The E-Class is equipped with two 10.25 inch screens as standard, the brand even optionally supplies 12.3 inch large models.
The E-Class has access to the latest gadgets in the field of driving assistance. The model can now proactively adjust the speed based on real-time traffic information. A new feature is the parking function, which allows the E-Class to drive and park independently in a (suitable) parking area to a section. And once the car is there, it is better protected by the new Urban Guard anti-theft system.
New engines
Mercedes-Benz replaces both the four-cylinder and six-cylinder petrol engines with a copy of the latest generation. The new 2.0 petrol engine is equipped with 48-volt mild-hybrid technology and has a capacity of 271 hp. Mercedes-Benz will later announce information about the new six-in-line engine. It is clear that the plug-in hybrid versions remain available, including the ‘300 de’ with diesel engine as a basis.
The renewed E-Class comes to the Netherlands in the summer, first as Limousine and Estate and shortly thereafter as Coupé and Cabriolet. The prices are not yet known.
