BMW immediately launches the absolute top versions of the renewed X3 and X4. We are already digitally acquainted with the X3 M and X4 M. The very strong SUVs will be on the market in August and are even immediately available as M Competition. Techzle has the prices.
The BMW news laps against the baseboards. After the unveiling of the 4-series Gran Coupé and the presentation of the facelifted X3 and X4, it is now time for the renewed X3 M and X4 M. It will undoubtedly not surprise you that the absolute top versions of the X3 and X4 are also optically face in a similar way to their less fortunate siblings. That means that the X3 M as X4 M get a renewed front with new headlights, a revised grille and modified bumper. The X3 M also gets new taillights. The interior of the two M models has also been thoroughly modernized, just like that of the regular X3s and X4s.

BMW X4 M
The four-wheel drive BMW X3 M and X4 M basically have a 480 hp and 620 Nm strong 3.0 in-line six as a power plant, a machine that launches the two to a speed of 100 km/h in exactly four seconds. BMW also has an M Competition Pack on the order list. As the M Competition, the X3 M and X4 M have a six-cylinder engine boosted to 510 hp and 650 Nm in their aggressive-looking muzzle. This allows the two power SUVs to sprint to a speed of 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. The M Competitions will receive, among other things, new 21-inch light alloy and are equipped with M Sport seats with electrically adjustable headrests and an illuminated M logo. The top speed of the M versions is limited to 250 km/h. If you check the optional M Driver’s Pack on the price list, you can continue to speed up to 285 km/h. Switching is done in all mentioned M versions with an eight-speed M Steptronic automatic transmission. A sports exhaust is standard.

BMW X3 M
From the outside, the full M versions of the X3 and X4 distinguish themselves, among other things, with their bumper work from the non-M models. The renewed M bumpers are peppered with large cooling openings and are a lot sharper than those of the pre-facelift X3 M and X4 M. Things like the door mirrors, the openings in the front fenders and – with the X4 M Competition – the rear spoiler are in high-gloss black. Two sets of double exhaust pipes can of course not be missing on an M model and so they are also part of the party. BMW will supply the updated X3 M and X4 M in new colours, including M Carbon Black, M Marina Bay Blau and M Sao Paulo Gelb. You can also paint the sporty SUVs in a BMW Individual color for the first time. So there was a choice. A fully digital instrumentation, now just like in the M8 with M View, is just like the 12.3-inch large infotainment screen standard. The same goes for an extensive audio system from Harman Kardon.

BMW X3
BMW asks € 136,657 for the renewed X3 M. For the refined BMW X4 M, the brand charges a starting price of € 138,386. From August, the two muscle bundles can be found at the Dutch dealers.
