The new week is just around the corner, but before that, let’s take a look back at the last seven days. The editors of iPhoned has rounded up the best iOS apps, games and updates from last week.
Last week’s 5 best iOS apps
The App Store is working overtime every week. New apps, updates for existing programs and games are added all the time. You probably don’t notice this much, because most of it is not worth downloading. iPhoned therefore separate the wheat from the chaff every Sunday. Here are this week’s best iOS apps, updates, and games.
1. Great Neighborhood
Neighborhood app ‘Great Neighborhood’ makes it easy to help people who are less fortunate in your municipality. If you need help yourself, you can ask a question in the app, to which others respond if they can offer help. By indicating in which categories you can help, you will receive specific requests for help.

In these times of corona, many people could use some help. Are you healthy and do you have nothing to do at home? Then you can contribute in this way. Previously, the app was only available in the municipality of Meppel, but from now on it is available for the whole of the Netherlands.
2. Undersea Solitaire Tripeaks
The well-known solo card game Solitaire now takes on a whole new meaning. In Undersea Solitaire Tripeaks there is even a background story involved. You enter the underwater world ‘Rocky Bottom’ that was destroyed by a whirlpool.
It’s up to you to slowly rebuild the colorful city by playing Solitaire. With up to 2000 levels you can progress with this for the time being. It may seem like a strange combination at first glance, but the game is surprisingly entertaining!
3. Orwell: Keeping an eye on you
In Orwell, you are the all-knowing and all-seeing nightmare of George Orwell’s fantasy. You infiltrate the lives of villagers to find out who is responsible for various terrorist attacks.
You are a researcher using the government security program called Orwell. This keeps track of everything that happens online, and you decide what to pass on to the authorities.
4. Totally Reliable Delivery Service
In a small town you are the parcel deliverer. You should know how you deliver the package: there are all kinds of ways and vehicles that you can use.
For example, you hang from the bottom of an airplane, or you reach your destination by means of a cable car. Meanwhile, you explore the beautiful, colorful world.
5. Carcassonne
The well-known party game Carcassonne now has a mobile version. In the app you play against other players from all over the world. Do you want to practice first and improve your tactics? Then you can also play against the computer.
In Carcassonne you try to conquer land in order to build a medieval city. You place roads, fields and cities. Knights, peasants and even pickpockets inhabit your city. By thwarting your opponents and earning the maximum number of points yourself in a tactical way, you win the game.
