It has had to be canceled for the past two years due to COVID-19, but BMW Motorrad is all set for the 20th BMW Motorrad Days, which will be held in Berlin next year immediately after the Pure&Crafted festival on July 2 and 3.
For almost two decades now, the BMW Motorrad Days have been a must for motorcycle fans from all over the world, especially fans of the German brand. Visitors from countries such as the US, Japan or Australia, sports, touring and enduro riders, customizing freaks or motorsport enthusiasts, there was something for everyone at the BMW Motorrad Days, which took place in Garmisch Partenkirchen all these years.
Two years ago, BMW took the decision to move the Motorrad Days to Berlin from 2020, but that edition had to be canceled due to the corona pandemic. The 2021 edition also had to be canceled for that reason.
After a two-year break, BMW Motorrad is once again inviting fans and friends of the brand to the BMW Motorrad Days on July 2 and 3, 2022. This time, the location is in the summer garden of the Messe Berlin exhibition grounds. The event follows directly on from the Pure&Crafted Festival, which will take place on July 1, 2022 at the same location and for which BMW Motorrad is once again the initiator and title sponsor.
Currently, the fourth edition of the Berlin Pure&Crafted Festival on 17 and 18 September 2021 has already impressively demonstrated that the new location in the heart of City-West not only provides the permanent new home for the Pure&Crafted Festival, but also offers perfect conditions at the same time. for the BMW Motorrad Days.
“The new concept is based on establishing a long-term presence at the BMW factory site in Berlin with the BMW Motorrad Days. We can make use of the synergies with the already well-known and proven Pure&Crafted Festival. However, they remain two separate and independent events : BMW Motorrad is a partner and sponsor of the Pure&Crafted Festival, while we ourselves organize the BMW Motorrad Days, the brand’s largest customer event in the world.”
In the first weekend of July next year, Pure&Crafted offers its visitors its magic, charm and special moments already on Friday. A unique event, the festival will delight all in attendance with a distinctive mix of live music, motorcycle culture and new heritage lifestyle before the BMW Motorrad Days take the reins on Saturday and Sunday.
The two-day meeting will once again be fully dedicated to the international BMW Motorrad fan community and two-wheel driving pleasure. In addition to new products, spectacular stunts, motorsport celebrities, test drives and much more, guests can especially look forward to the now legendary party atmosphere of the BMW Motorrad Days, topped with a touch of Bavarian lifestyle.
Visitors to the BMW Motorrad Days 2022 in Berlin can look forward to a varied program of activities that is wider than ever. The taste of young and old is catered for, with fun and a good mood guaranteed for everyone.
The stunt shows push the boundaries of riding physics and the original Motodrom, the oldest Wall of Death in the world, will revive the great tradition of wall-of-death riding. Customizing fans will get their money’s worth in the Heritage Area where they can inspect a whole range of custom bikes and associated equipment.”
In addition, the hinterland of Berlin can be explored both on-road and off-road on a motorcycle during organized tours with local guides. A wide selection of current BMW Motorrad models will again be available for test drives in 2022.
