Google Chrome has rolled out a new feature capable of generating subtitles on the fly for media content played in the browser. Find out how to activate it in seconds.
Google’s web browser now knows how to generate subtitles on the fly for multimedia content. Chrome has in fact just been updated and includes a new accessibility function, allowing you to display instant captioning on videos and audio content (radio shows, podcasts, etc.), that you consult, whatever the broadcasting platform.
This function, which uses the artificial intelligence of the search engine, is currently only available in English, but other languages should be supported very soon.
While waiting for its availability in French, you can always activate it to display the subtitles of the English-speaking content that you watch or listen to, without necessarily understanding everything you hear.
