Earlier this year, Clubhouse launched: a ‘Drop In Audio’ app where you can join different channels to discuss with other users.

Review Spotify Greenroom: talking app about music, sports and cultureThe talking app quickly became popular and other makers, including Facebook, rushed to come up with something similar. From Spotify now comes Greenroom. This is also a talking app, which in principle focuses on channels about music, sports and culture.

The app looks clear. You can search by groups, but also by specific people. In the main screen you can see how many Roman (rooms) are currently active. Instead of entering an existing channel, you can also set up your own room and invite people yourself. Through Room Recording you can make an audio recording of the discussion, which will be sent via e-mail afterwards. You can also set that in addition to speech, you can also communicate with each other via text (chat).

The app has a simple design and is easy to use. The number of options is limited for the time being, but we expect these to be expanded over time and functions between the talking apps will increasingly converge.
