
Change the email address associated with the Apple ID that you use to download your apps and sync your data to the cloud.
Apple ID is the ultimate sesame for all of your Apple accounts and devices. Consisting of an email address and password, Apple ID allows you to sync your data to iCloud, download apps from the App Store, subscribe to Apple Music, and even locate your iPhone. when the latter is lost.
Thus, the email address used for your Apple ID is also the one on which invoices for purchases, subscriptions, or even appointments at the Genius Bar of an Apple Store are sent. Unfortunately, many long-time users continue to use an Apple ID whose email address is no longer in use, no longer functional, or whose inbox is no longer accessible.
However, the Cupertino company offers the possibility of changing the email address used for the Apple ID in a few clicks.
1. Log in to the account management interface
Go to the Manage your Apple account page. Enter your current Apple ID, enter your password, and sign in to your account.
If two-factor authentication is turned on, you should receive a notification on one of your Apple devices. Tap Authorize, then enter the password displayed on your account login page.

2. Change the Apple ID
Once logged into your Apple account, in the Account section, click on the Edit button.

Then click on Change Apple ID… displayed just below your current Apple ID.

In the pop-up that appears, enter the new email address you want to use as your Apple ID and click Continue. You should receive a message on this address containing a verification code. Enter it in the window provided for this purpose on the management page of your Apple account and click on Finish to save your changes.

3. Check that your modifications have been taken into account
If everything went perfectly, you won’t need to reconnect your Apple ID on your different devices. Changing the email address of your Apple ID is normally reflected automatically on all devices to which your Apple account is connected.
You can check it very easily on an iPhone or iPad by going to Settings, then entering your account.
