Twitter’s new interface leaves some users skeptical. Easily go back and keep using the old social network interface.
At the end of June, Twitter began rolling out its new interface. Directly inspired by the mobile application, Twitter’s new design is more current, and adapts perfectly to the size of the screen or the window in which it is open.
However, although this new design is rather successful, some users resistant to the change would like to be able to find the old interface of Twitter. There are, a priori, several methods to find the old Twitter.
To force the display of the old Twitter, several techniques exist. The most common is to delete certain browser cookies, clear the cache, and trick Twitter into believing that you are using a web browser that is too old to display the new interface.
To set it up, several tools are generally necessary and require a little getting your hands dirty.
Developers have looked into the issue and created extensions that can do all the work for you, without you having to do anything other than install the extension on your browser.
For Firefox, you will need to download the GoodTwitter extension. Once installed, you just need to refresh the Twitter page to see the new design disappear in favor of the old one.

For Google Chrome, download the Old Twitter Layout extension. Operating on the same principle, the extension does not require any manipulation on the part of the user, except to refresh the Twitter page.

If for the moment these two extensions are functional, there is nothing to indicate that Twitter does not make some changes to put an end to the practice and force users to use its new interface.
