
Windows 10 comes with a hidden variant of File Explorer. This universal application with a modern interface designed for touchscreen interfaces, can be activated in a few clicks.
The Windows File Explorer interface has evolved a lot with new versions of Windows. If in Windows 10, the file explorer interface is quite efficient, there is a variant, in the form of a universal application.
This other file explorer is however hidden, but can be activated very easily, with just a few clicks.
1. Create a new shortcut
From the Windows desktop, right click, go to the New menu, and select Shortcut.

2. Save the shortcut
In the window that opens, paste the following command in the Enter the location of the element field:
explorer shell: AppsFolder c5e2524a-ea46-4f67-841f-6a9465d9d515_cw5n1h2txyewy! App

Then click on the Next button and fill in a name for this new shortcut, Explorer UWP, for example, and click Finish.
A new shortcut to the alternative Windows File Explorer interface should appear on your desktop.

3. Pin the shortcut
To avoid having to go to your desktop every time to access UWP File Explorer, open it using a double click, then right-click on its icon from the taskbar , and choose to Pin it to the taskbar.

This will add a direct access shortcut to the taskbar at the bottom of the screen.
