Avoid getting spoiler on Twitter by configuring your account to automatically hide posts containing certain keywords, accounts or phrases.
You are following a new series closely and you are afraid of getting spoiler history on Twitter? To avoid this, it is possible to configure your account so that tweets containing certain keywords are not displayed in your thread.
Operation, very simple, is accessible in a few minutes, and can be set up both from the Twitter web interface and from its iOS and Android mobile applications, where the menus are very similar. Here is how to proceed so as not to disclose.
1. Enter the settings
Go to your Twitter account, click on the More button (web) or on your avatar (mobile application) and go to the Settings and privacy menu.

2. Access the Privacy options
Then enter Privacy and security, scroll through the options and then, in the Security section, click on the Hidden menu.

3. Add a word to hide
Then go to Hidden words and click on the + or Add button to add a new word to be silenced.
Then enter a specific word, phrase, nickname or hashtag that you don’t want displayed. Then choose where you want these words hidden, and select From Everyone to make sure that all posts containing that word or phrase are hidden from you.

Finally, set the duration of the masking. By default Twitter permanently blocks the words you indicate to it and confirm your preferences by pressing Save.
If you choose this option, you will have to manually unmask them to re-allow their display in your feed. Once your filters are created, you should no longer see any tweet containing the chosen words appear in your timeline.
