Microsoft’s operating system incorporates a predictive input function like on mobile phones. Activate it on your physical keyboard to limit errors and reduce typos.
Typing text quickly without making mistakes on a mobile has been greatly facilitated by the implementation of predictive typing systems. Thanks to them, the speed of typing on the keyboard from a touch screen interface is better and the various errors and mistakes that one can make while typing text are limited.
Windows 10 also benefits from a predictive input function. Disabled by default, it is basically intended for the Windows 10 virtual keyboard that appears when you use the operating system on a touch screen, especially on hybrid PCs.
Here is how to activate its operation with the physical keyboard of your machine.
1. Open Settings
Click the Windows 10 Start menu, then click the cogwheel icon to access operating system settings.

Then enter the section dedicated to Peripherals.

2. Activate predictive input
Go to the Input menu in the left column and scroll through the various options displayed until you reach the Hardware keyboard section.
Activate the option Show text suggestions as you type, and optionally the Automatic correction of misspelled words as you type.

This will not only benefit you from predictions, but your typos will, in principle, be automatically corrected as you enter text.
3. Use predictive typing
Using predictive typing can begin immediately, as Windows 10 does not need to restart to apply the changes to the system.
Open any tool for entering text and start typing on the keyboard. With each word you type, Windows should display a bubble above the line with one or more word suggestions.

Less practical to use than from a touch interface, automatic prediction on a hardware keyboard requires, to validate a word, that you use the mouse, or the directional arrows on the keyboard (up, followed by right / left) before validating with the Enter key.
