With just a few clicks, erase all traces of movies and series that do not match your tastes in your viewing history on Prime Video.
If you let family members use your Prime Video account before the providential arrival of user profiles, it’s a safe bet that the service displays suggestions that are sometimes inconsistent with your personal tastes.
As with Netflix, Prime Video is based on the viewing history of a profile to suggest you discover new series or new films. As much to say it immediately, if your offspring has spent their time watching Sam the firefighter, you may well be offered to watch the fantastic adventures of Donkey Trotro.
To avoid this, and to erase all traces of embarrassing content that has been viewed from your profile, Prime Video includes an option to wipe out the past. Here’s how to delete your reading history.
1. Go to the settings
Log into your Amazon Prime Video account from your computer’s web browser. The menu for deleting the viewing history is in fact only available from the web version of the service.
Once logged in, open the drop-down menu associated with your profile, and go to the Account and settings menu.

2. Access the reading history
Then go to the tab dedicated to your Reading History. All movies and series episodes that have been viewed with your profile are displayed.
Click on the cross displayed in front of each of the titles that you want to disappear from your history.

As a result, any videos deleted from your history will no longer be considered for personalized recommendations displayed on your Prime Video profile.
