1. Activate the Windows 10 game bar
Windows 10 in principle includes by default a tool intended in principle for gamers. The Windows 10 game bar, also known as the Xbox Game Bar, is a tool that, when activated, allows you to display various widgets over a game running on your PC.
These allow, among other things, to take screenshots or video recordings of your games, to manage sound and voice, if you play online in particular, or to monitor the performance of your PC while you are playing. play.
To activate the Game Bar in Windows 10, simply use the Windows + G keyboard shortcut. You should then see the Xbox Game Bar interface appear above other open windows on the screen.
If nothing happens, the game bar is probably not activated. You can adjust this by going to Windows Settings, then Games, activating the Xbox Game Bar.

Then click on the performance panel icon on the main toolbar to display the performance panel, at the bottom left of the Xbox Game Bar.
2. Pin the performance panel
The element that interests us here is the section devoted to the performance of the machine. From this small window, it is possible to monitor the performance of your processor and your graphics card, the amount of RAM used in real time, as well as the number of FPS displayed on the screen.
This performance panel, present in the Xbox Game Bar, can be kept in the foreground, above other windows, and this constantly.

To do this, simply click on the pushpin icon displayed on the Performance window. Move the panel to where you want to leave it displayed on the screen and click anywhere to make the game bar disappear.
The Performance panel is now pinned to your screen and will always be displayed on top of other open windows.
