Give a unique look to the Google search widget displayed on the home screen of your Android smartphone by customizing its interface.
If you have customized the interface of your Android smartphone a little, there is a good chance that the Google widget displayed by default is not connected with the interface of your device.
However, this small widget that allows you to quickly launch a query on the search engine, access Google Lens or ask a question to the Google Assistant can very easily change its appearance. Obviously very few users still know it, but Google has integrated options to customize the interface.

1. Open the Google app
Start by opening the Google app on your Android smartphone. It is indeed from the settings of this application that you will be able to customize the interface of the Google widget displayed by default on the home screen of your smartphone.
2. Access the customization options
Go to the More tab displayed at the bottom right of the screen, then enter the Customize widget menu.

3. Customize the widget
The menu dedicated to customizing the widget interface offers four options.

The first will allow you to choose to display the entire Google name or just the G logo, the second allows you to define the shape of the search bar, the third offers to configure a new color for the bar and finally the fourth and last option will be useful to apply a transparency effect to the widget.
Once your preferences have been chosen press the OK button to save your changes. The widget displayed on your home screen should then sport the new look you assigned to it.
