It was leaked a while ago that it was coming, but in the fourth installment of the Ducati World Premiere web series, Ducati has now officially announced the Streetfighter V4 SP. The Streetfighter V4 SP is distinguished by a special livery, premium equipment derived from the Superleggera V4 and with a lower weight of 196 kg roadworthy.

The most adrenaline-fueled naked ever to roll off the production line at Borgo Panigale, that’s the new Streetfighter V4 SP in a nutshell, according to Ducati. The SP produced in a numbered version must, if we believe the Italians, have perfectly combined the Streetfighter’s “Fight Formula” with the “SP” specifications thanks to special technical equipment.
Those are nice words from Ducati, but what exactly makes the difference? Let’s start with the engine, which, as we wrote earlier, is equipped with the STM-EVO SBK dry clutch, which should guarantee a better slipper function, as well as greater flexibility during the rolling phase. In terms of power, the SP delivers the same power and torque of 208 hp and 123 Nm as the regular V4.
In terms of chassis, the Streetfighter V4 SP is fitted with 5-spoke carbon rims, which are 1.4 kilograms lighter than the forged aluminum rims fitted to the V4 S and have reduced inertia at the front by 26% and rear by 46%. And that saves a jacket when changing direction at high speed.
In terms of brakes, Ducati has opted for the exclusive Brembo Stylema R calipers at the front. Finally, the bike is equipped with the Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 semi-active suspension, the system that adapts to the rider’s riding style.
Have we all had it then? No, the SP is also equipped with adjustable aluminum and CNC machined footpegs, a carbon front mudguard and a lithium-ion battery. For those who are not enough, Ducati has come up with a number of accessories, such as an open carbon clutch cover and cover plates for removing the number plate holder, but that’s for when you want to go on the track with your bike.
Oh yes, then that color. Ducati calls it the “Winter Test” livery and says it is inspired by the Ducati Corse motorcycles raced in the MotoGP and SBK championships during pre-season testing.
The Matt Black of the fairing, combined with the Matt Carbon finish of the rims and winglets, contrasts with the bright red accents and the sparkling brushed aluminum tank. The new flagship of the Streetfighter family also features a unique number on the handlebars and the color scheme of the Italian flag on the carbon winglets.

The Streetfighter V4 SP will be available in a single-seat version in the “Winter Test” livery. The motorcycle will be available at official Ducati dealers from February 2022 for 32,990 in Belgium and 36,990 in the Netherlands.
