Which browser do I use?

You can browse the internet with a browser. There are several browsers, such as Google Chrome, Edge or Firefox. How do you see which browser you are using on your PC?

Well-known browsers are Google Chrome, Edge and Mozilla Firefox for Windows computers and Safari for Mac. You probably use one of these browsers to browse the internet, but which one? It can be discovered at a glance, with the menu button in the internet program.

  • Are there three horizontal lines in the top right when using the internet 'Menu' button? Then you use Firefox.
  • Are there three dots above each other while using the internet 'Customize and manage' button? Then you use Google Chrome.
  • Are there three dots next to each other while using the internet 'Settings and more' button? Then you use Edge.
  • If you work on a Mac, use Safari.

New versions of a browser appear regularly. This way the internet program continues to function properly. Check which version you are using and whether it is the latest version. This is slightly different in every browser.
