Indebuurt.nl is a collection of local news sites of DPG Media, the publisher of, among others, Algemeen Dagblad and various free door-to-door newspapers. The site aims to inform, inspire and entertain residents and entrepreneurs on a daily basis with news in the area. They do this by paying attention to everything that makes the city fun: beautiful places, new shops and restaurants, interesting facts about the city’s history, inspiring residents and various activities. Interested in news from Schiedam or Deventer? Then you’ve come to the right place. But you can also find news from Ede, Arnhem and 35 other places here.

Every day, the Algemeen Dagblad (AD) website contains a collection of fresh news throughout the country. The editorial team also bundles news from different regions. This comes from the editors of regional newspapers such as De Stem, De Stentor and Rotterdams Dagblad.

Nu.nl is a popular national news site with current affairs in all kinds of sections such as sports, economy, foreign countries and tech. But you can also find regional news here. At least if you want to follow news from Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, The Hague, Amersfoort, Eindhoven, Zwolle, Groningen, Haarlem, Breda, Leiden, Alphen a/d Rijn or Zeeland. The reporting is provided in collaboration with local media such as De Bode, BredaVandaag and AT5.

• An overview opens with a few lines of the message and a photo. Open the message by clicking on it or skip to a specific region by clicking More [Naam van de regio].

The news site Regio Online was created in 2017 from a Facebook page about 112 local news. The idea was to bring more varied news from the region in addition to accidents. There is now an extensive range of topics, ranging from ‘112 news’, ‘Royal House’ to ‘Nature and Environment’, ‘Care and Welfare’ and ‘Art and Culture’. These themes also appear on the various region pages with only news about their own region.

The NOS also has a wide range of regional news. NOS.nl contains a collection of current affairs from various local and regional TV channels, such as RTV Rijnmond, RTV Oost, Omroep West and Omroep L1mburg. Articles and videos about, for example, resigned councilors and local fires that originate from the local sites are shown here.
