Free up space on your hard drive and unclog your operating system by quickly uninstalling any preinstalled apps you aren’t using.
Like Windows 10, Windows 11 comes with preinstalled applications on both new PCs and clean installations that you will probably never use. This software, sometimes offered as trial versions, takes up unnecessary space on your storage and, for some, can cannibalize your machine’s resources, reducing its performance.
All of these preinstalled applications, also called bloatware, for the most part, can be uninstalled fairly easily. It is also possible to get rid of it in several ways. Here’s how.
Also to discover in video:
1. From the Start menu
The first possible solution to get rid of bloatware from Windows 11 is to go directly to the Start menu.
Click on it then, in the Pinned applications panel or from the All applications menu, right-click on one of the applications to remove and choose to Uninstall it.

Then confirm the removal of the application by clicking on Uninstall in the pop-up that appears.

Repeat the procedure as many times as necessary to get rid of these unwanted applications.
2. From Settings
To uninstall the preinstalled applications on Windows 11, you can also go through the OS Settings window.
To do this, click on the Start menu, open Settings, go to the Applications section in the left column and go to the Applications and Features menu.

In the list of installed applications, click on the options button represented by three small dots displayed on the line of an application to remove, then choose to Uninstall it. Confirm by clicking on Uninstall again.

3. Using ThisIsWin11
If you’re not afraid to put your hands under the hood a bit and are fairly fluent in English, you can use a utility like ThisIsWin11 to complete the Uninstallation of Unwanted Items.
To do this, run ThisIsWin11, then in the left column, go to Apps. On the left side of the window, select each app that you no longer want to see in Windows 11, then click Add Selected in the center. The applications chosen to be uninstalled should now be displayed in the Recycle Bin column on the right. Then validate their deletion by clicking on the Empty Recycle Bin button.

Be careful however, ThisIsWin11 being as powerful as it is complete, it is reserved for advanced users.
4. Using Windows10Debloater
Don’t be fooled by his name. While Windows10Debloater is a script originally created to remove preinstalled apps on Windows 10, it also works fine on Windows 11.
To use it, right click on the Start menu and launch Windows Terminal (administrator).

Then copy-paste the following line of code into the Terminal window:
iwr -useb https://git.io/debloat|iex
Validate by pressing the Enter key on the keyboard so that the Windows Terminal creates a restore point, downloads the script to your machine, and executes it.

A Windows 10Debloater window should then open in the background. Several options are then offered to you. You can uninstall Onedrive by clicking on the Uninstall OneDrive button, or even deactivate the Windows telemetry tools by clicking on Disable Telemetry / Tasks.

Behind it, the Terminal window should display the various operations performed. Take a look and validate the actions to take when asked.

Finally, click on Customize Blocklist. In the window that opens, select the items you want to remove and click on Save custom Allowlist and Blocklist to custom-lists.ps1.

Back in the Windows 10 Debloater window, click the Remove bloatware with custom blocklist button.
The script should then proceed to uninstall all of the selected items. Then restart your computer so that all the operations performed are taken into account.
