BMW iX M60 with a top speed of 250 km/h
So there is now also an M Sport version of the fully electric BMW iX: the M60. It arrives at the front with an output of 619 hp and 1100 Nm of torque. Enough to swing the fat guy to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and on to a limited top speed of 250 km/h. If you hold back and stay as far away from those numbers as possible, you should be able to approach a range of 575 kilometers.
Up to 80 percent battery level in 35 minutes
The 105.2 kWh battery of the BMW iX M60 can be charged with up to 200 kW. From 10 percent to 80 percent charge level then takes about 35 minutes. For comparison: a Mercedes EQS achieves the same charging speed, but a Hyundai Ioniq 5, Kia EV6 and Audi E-Tron GT / Porsche Taycan are a lot faster, with 220 kW, 240 kW and 270 kW respectively.
light-footed? With a weight of 2500 kilos?
According to BMW, the iX M60 feels “confident and light-footed”, despite its monstrous vehicle weight of 2,500 kilograms. The model has an M-specific chassis, with adaptive air suspension, electronically controlled shock absorbers and four-wheel steering. The M Sport braking system of the iX M60 can be recognized by the blue brake callipers. The large BMW stands on 22-inch alloy wheels.
