As part of 50 years of Z, Kawasaki has returned to the roots of the Z. For the 50th Anniversary editions of the retro models Z900RS and Z650RS, the Japanese in Akashi have chosen the iconic “Fireball” colors of the original Z1.

Pushing the boundaries of the Retro Sport scene even further, Kawasaki returned to the roots of the Z brand and chose the iconic “Fireball” pattern of the original Z1 for the 50th anniversary editions of the retro sports model Z900RS and Z650RS . A special painting process has been developed especially for these models.
The candy colors of the tank and body are layered to bring out a deep, glossy texture that enhances the inherent beauty of these machines. Complementing the rich colors, the frames of both machines are finished in gloss black and have a special seat leather with a texture that differs from the standard model, as well as stitching in different colors.
Both machines feature gold-colored wheels and “Double Overhead Camshaft” decals reminiscent of the past, and proudly features the “Z 50th” logo on the top of the tank. In addition, the left and crankcase covers of the Z900RS feature a ‘DOHC’ decal.
