The Samsung Galaxy S22 will be considerably more expensive than its predecessor according to a new leak. The device is for sale from 912 euros. The Ultra variant in turn has a solid suggested retail price of 1450 euros and from 1170 euros you can buy the S22 Plus.

We had to blink twice when the European prices of the Samsung Galaxy S22 range were leaked today. The news comes from the well-known rumor spreader Snoopytech. He indicates that the prices are not expected to be completely accurate, but that they should give an indication. So there’s good reason to take them with a grain of salt. We list them below for you:

Price hike coming?
When you look at those prices, you understand why we had to blink our eyes. The regular Galaxy S22 received a suggested retail price of 849 euros last year and therefore it seems very unlikely to us if that price suddenly exceeds 900 euros. Although it is quite possible that we can expect a certain price increase this year after Samsung lowered the price of its S21 by 50 euros last year.

In a scenario where the S21 costs a little more this year, the new Galaxy S21 FE would fit the bill better. The phone was presented this week with a suggested retail price of 749 euros.
