Signify, the company behind Philips Hue, unveils a new range of smart lighting products and features from Philips Hue to create the perfect atmosphere both inside and outside your home. The new Philips Hue Inara wall lantern, the Calla pedestal lamp in stainless steel and two new effects in the Philips Hue app are there for every occasion, whether you’re sitting with friends on the terrace or during a romantic evening on the couch.
Philips Hue Inara wall lamp for elegant outdoor lighting
The new Philips Hue Inara wall lamp brings the decorative beauty of the filament lamp from the inside out. The vintage-style black lantern includes all the smart features of Philips Hue with a traditional look. The dimmable warm white light of the Inara provides elegance and an intimate atmosphere on the terrace or veranda when you welcome guests and sets the right mood for a cozy get-together outdoors.
Philips Hue Calla Pedestal Lamp
The outdoor range is further expanded with the Philips Hue Calla pedestal lamp in stainless steel, ideal for illuminating your garden path. The white and colored light provides an inviting and atmospheric entrance to your home. With a height of just over 25 centimeters, the Calla can easily be spread in the garden, among flowers or between plants and trees to create a personal atmosphere. The Calla path lighting features low voltage technology, which is easy to install and expand. Simply connect the lamp to your existing Philips Hue low voltage installation using the supplied extension cable.
Philips Hue smart lights for outdoors
The Philips Hue outdoor smart lights come with all the benefits of the Philips Hue system and can withstand all weather conditions. The lamps are dimmable to create a perfect atmosphere and can be controlled via the Philips Hue app, remote control, speech or outdoor motion sensor. Connect the smart outdoor lighting to the Philips Hue Bridge and benefit from smart automations: set the lighting to come on when you’re nearby or automate the lighting to simulate your presence when you’re away.
New effects in Philips Hue app
In the first quarter of 2022, new effects will be added to the Philips Hue app. The first effects are Candle and Fireplace, which mimic the soft glow of natural candlelight or a cozy fireplace to create the right atmosphere for a romantic dinner or a relaxing evening on the couch. For a more intense experience, you can use them with the Philips Hue gradient light strip, gradient light tube and gradient Signe table or floor lamp.

Because Philips Hue is constantly innovating, the new generations of lamps have improved hardware capabilities compared to previous generations. The Candle and Fireplace effects take advantage of these enhanced capabilities and work on all Philips Hue lights that are both Zigbee and Bluetooth compatible. Once the effects are available in the Hue app, you can check if your lamp is compatible.
Price and availability
Both lamps will be available from February 8, 2022. The Philips Hue Inara Filament wall lamp in black has a suggested retail price of €99.99, the Philips Hue Calla pedestal lamp in stainless steel has a suggested retail price of €139.99.
