In the menu Privacy and Security do you think View account details (under the heading Account detailsâ€
When you click this option, you will arrive at a page with all kinds of information about your profile. Here you can understand when you’ve logged in or out of Instagram, the accounts you’ve blocked, and more. You will also find here Search history†If you click under this heading Display all then you can clear any searches you’ve made for accounts, locations, or hashtags.
Both on your smartphone and on the Instagram website, you can also delete recent searches by tapping the search bar and then clicking the cross to the right of the search.
Of course, only the search history of the account you are logged into will be deleted. If you have multiple Instagram accounts, you will have to go through the above steps again to delete the history of that account as well.
