Pixel 7 in September
In the meantime, we are used to Google showing its new smartphones to the world in October. Last year we got to see the Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro on October 21, but according to the latest rumors, a successor for the devices is coming sooner than expected.

In addition, the Pixel 7 will have a smaller 6.3-inch screen, compared to the 6.4-inch 90Hz panel of the Pixel 6. The Pixel 7 Pro will have fewer changes, as it will again come with a 6.7-inch panel. Leaked renders of the Pixel 7 Pro
Panther and Cheetah
In February, the first information became known about Google’s upcoming flagships for the fall. We have since known that the devices will receive a new Tensor processor with another Samsung-made modem. The codenames of the devices are after big cats, they are called ‘Panther’ and ‘Cheetah’.
A week later, we also had the renders of the Pixel 7 Pro and we deduce that Google is building on the design of the Pixel 6 series. Google is going to refine the design a bit more, especially with regard to the horizontal camera setup. There have also recently been new rumors about the Pixel 6a, which is a cheaper variant of the Pixel 6 that Google is releasing this year.
Do you think it’s a good thing that Google doesn’t make too big changes to the design of its top devices? We now also know that only the regular Pixel 7 will have a slightly smaller screen. Let us know in the comments at the bottom of this article.
