Free yourself from sending certain e-mails by using the sending scheduler function integrated into Microsoft webmail.
Are you the type to set an alarm so you don’t forget to send an important email? Stop putting unnecessary stress on yourself. If you use Microsoft’s Outlook online messaging service, you don’t need to stay near your computer or log in to send a message at a set date and time.
The Redmond giant’s messaging service has, like Gmail, an option that allows you to schedule the sending of your emails. Thanks to this function, you can write all your important messages in advance and schedule their automatic sending at the date and time of your choice.
You therefore no longer need to log in or validate the sending of your missives on D-Day and can relegate this thankless task directly to your mailbox. Discover in a few clicks how to schedule the sending of an e-mail on the web version of Outlook.

1. Write your message
Go to your inbox to write a New Mail. Write your message, insert your attachments, emojis, etc. as you usually do for any other message.

2. Schedule the send
Instead of clicking the Submit button, click the little down arrow to access the options in the drop-down menu. Then choose to Send your message later.

The pop-up that appears on the screen allows you to set a sending date and time. Two suggested dates and times that you can select are displayed by default. If that doesn’t work for you, click Custom Time.

The new window that appears offers you to Set a custom date and time. Browse the calendar to choose a date or enter it manually in the field provided.

Then set the sending time by clicking on the corresponding drop-down menu. Once all your parameters have been correctly chosen, click on the Send button.
Until it is sent, your message is saved in the Drafts of your Outlook box, allowing you to edit it if necessary before it is sent for good.
