1. Instagram: all the photos you’ve liked

Do you see a nice photo in Instagram? Then of course you give them a like (or a heart). But did you know that you can also see which photos you’ve given a like? You do that in the following way.

View all photos in Instagram that you’ve given a like or heart

  1. Launch the Instagram app;

  2. Tap the profile icon at the bottom right;

  3. Tap the menu (the three lines) at the top right and choose ‘Your activity’;

  4. Choose ‘Interactions > Likes’;

  5. You will now see all the photos you liked in Instagram.

And are you all done with Instagram now? Then you can read in the article below how to stop the photo service.

2. WhatsApp: which chat uses the most storage space?

We have already given you tips on how to free up space on your iPhone. WhatsApp also has to believe it now. If you’ve been using the chat service for some years, you should really clean up every now and then. If you don’t, you’ll lose more and more storage space for (sometimes nonsensical) photos, videos, and chats.

It is then useful to deal with the conversation in WhatsApp that takes up the most space first. You do that in the following way.

  • Open WhatsApp and tap ‘Settings’ at the bottom right;
  • In the overview, choose ‘Storage and data’;
  • Tap ‘Manage Storage’;
  • Under ‘Check and delete items’ you will see all files larger than 5MB that you can delete;
  • Under ‘Chats’, all WhatsApp conversations are sorted by size. The conversation that takes up most of your iPhone’s storage is at the top;
  • Tap the chat and ‘Select’;
  • Choose the files you want to delete or ‘Select all’ to get rid of everything.

3. Measure: Use iPhone as a spirit level

The Measure app also has an extra function, which we show in these iPhone tips. Normally you use the app to measure the length or width of objects (or yourself). But it also has a spirit level function. You can find it by starting the app and tapping ‘Spirit level’ at the bottom.

Then you can put your iPhone on something to see if something is exactly level. Do not forget to remove the case from your iPhone first, because some cases have a curvature and then the spirit level function does not work well.

Incidentally, the level function was part of the Compass app until iOS 12. But now the function can be found in the Measure app.
