The famous “leaker” Evan Blass has just shared on his Twitter account what strongly resembles Samsung’s official invitation for the presentation of its folding smartphones, the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Z Fold4.
If the conditional is still de rigueur, the evidence of a presentation of Samsung’s folding smartphones in August is accumulating. This time, Samsung’s promotional image was shared. It features the date August 10, 2022, the word “Today” and a blurry foldable phone that looks (strongly) like what could be the Galaxy Z Flip4.

The Korean giant should also take advantage of this event to present its Z Fold4 and its new watches, the Galaxy Watch 5 and 5 Pro. Three weeks before the fateful date, Samsung should soon confirm the date of its Galaxy Unpacked.

Like last year, Samsung could choose the summer period to present its new Galaxy Z Fold4, Z Flip4 and Watch5. The Korean manufacturer could offer its folding smartphones and connected watches shortly after their official presentation. We take stock.
Samsung’s smartwatch and smartwatch release schedule leaves nothing to chance. For a few years, the Korean giant has been presenting its S range mobiles at the beginning of the year and its A range a little later. The third quarter is usually for more experimental devices like folding smartphones. This was the case last year when the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3, Z Fold3 and Watch4 were launched in August.
This year, it is the “leaker” Jon Prosser who delivers on his Twitter the presumed dates of the presentation and the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Flip4, but also of the Watch5 from Samsung. If this information is not official, Jon Prosser announces a presentation of the products for next August 10 and marketing (or at least pre-orders) two weeks later, on August 26.
Dates and colors for the new Galaxy Z Flip, Z Fold and Galaxy Watch
Prosser doesn’t stop there by directly announcing color. Or rather the different colors. This is an opportunity to discover the likely sizes of dials for smartwatches:
- Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4: black, green, beige
- Samsung Galaxy Z Filp4: Graphite, Purple, Rose Gold, Blue
- Samsung Galaxy Watch5 (40mm): Black, Silver, Rose Gold
- Samsung Galaxy Watch5 (44mm): Black, Silver, Sapphire (Blue)
- Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro (46mm): Black, Silver
Other sources also mention an increase in the price of the Galaxy Z Fold4 compared to the previous model. A more muscular technical sheet and greater storage capacity could inflate the final bill. Eyes are also on the price of the Z Flip4. Indeed, the Galaxy Z Flip3 was offered for 500 euros less than its predecessor. We will see if this year Samsung has succeeded in making its folding smartphone even more accessible.
Only a few more weeks of patience to have the dates of presentation and official launch of the new products of the Korean manufacturer.
