‘Batur defines the future’
Later this month, Bentley will take the curtain on an extremely exclusive model with an important task. The Bentley Mulliner Batur shows which way Bentley is going in terms of design in the coming years.
Bentley’s bespokedepartment Mulliner will have the honor of showing the future of the brand with his Batur-christened creation at the end of this month. The Bentley Mulliner Batur is a GT (probably still the current Continental GT) that is topped with design elements that we will see on fully electric Bentleys. In fact, the Batur is designed in “an entirely new design language,” according to Bentley. That creates expectations. It is therefore ‘more than the successor to the Bacalar’, the extremely limited two-seater on a Continental GT basis from 2020.
The fact that, in addition to being a design precursor, it is also the successor to the Bacalar, probably means that a limited edition will be built. So more than a show car. Unfortunately, it is not really clear yet what we can expect from it. We don’t get to see more than a piece of grille and the Bentley logo. On Saturday evening, August 20 (US time), the Bentley Mulliner Batur will be unveiled at Monterey Car Week.
