Hurricane force through your hair

American Hennessey Performance announces the arrival of an open version of the absurdly fast Venom F5. The Texans have already released a first shadowy image of the Venom F5 Roadster that will make its debut very soon during Monterey Car Week in California.
Hennessey Performance is mainly a tuner of American pick-ups and muscle car. The company, led by John Hennessey, likes to fire more than 1,000 hp strong creations on car land, but also makes bloody fast cars all by itself. So it came in 2020 with the Venom F5, the successor to the Venom GT that was based on the Lotus Exige. That 1,842 hp Venom F5 is now sold out, but Hennessey will soon give the car an open sequel.
The dense Hennessey Venom F5
The Venom F5 Roadster, which Hennessey already shows an image of, is in fact nothing more than a cut open version of the well-known outrageously fast hypercar. So count on the same 1,842 hp and 1,617 Nm twin-turbo 6.6 V8 behind the front seats as in the dense Venom F5. There will be a total of 24 copies of the Venom F5, each of which costs more than €2 million. The F5 Roadster will also be built in a limited edition, although it is not yet known how many copies will come and what they will cost.
The Venom F5 is capable of shooting from a standstill to a speed of 400 km/h in about 20 seconds. Its top speed: 484 km/h, although Hennessey initially called for the car to be able to reach a top speed of 500 km/h. Do you find the Venom F5 bizarre? Then wet your chest for the next project Hennessey Performance is working on. Under the heading Project Deep Space, the company is working on an electric car with six wheels and four seats.
