Yet a fourth

Audi has lost count. Initially, it would come with three Sphere study models: the Skysphere, Grandsphere and the Urbansphere. Those three concept cars have long been unveiled, but Audi is now looking ahead to the arrival of a fourth: the Activsphere.
According to the brand, Audi’s Sphere study models reflect its vision of a future in which autonomous electric transport is central. That means: don’t drive yourself, but still experience a lot. The Grandsphere, for example, showed what a luxurious autonomous top limousine can look like inside and out. The Skysphere was an autonomous electric coupé and convertible in one and the Urbansphere was aimed at spatially autonomous urban transport. At the beginning of 2023, Audi will pull the curtain on a new addition to the series of Sphere study models: The Activsphere.

From left to right: the Skysphere, Grandsphere and Urbansphere.
As the name of the Activesphere Concept probably gives away, Audi’s latest concept car is an SUV-like vision of the future. We see a slick lined model that stands high on the legs and has wheel arches filled by wheels with off-road rubber folded around it. The Activsphere has a strikingly sloping roofline and a front with flat lighting. The visible flat light unit may only function as daytime running lights and the actual headlight is underneath it, still shrouded in darkness in this single photo. In any case, count on the presence of autonomous software and hardware.
According to Audi, the Activsphere is of course completely suitable for people with an active lifestyle, although it remains somewhat unclear even in 2022 what exactly you should imagine.
