Once again, a new player in the automotive world has come forward and says it is focusing on electric mobility. Now it is an Italian company that goes by the name Aehra. It shows two teaser plates of a first model: an electric SUV.
We can imagine if you can no longer see the wood for the trees with all the start-ups in the car industry. Not infrequently, one or more study models are presented with great fanfare, only to hear nothing about them for years. Or the Italian Aehra also follows that path? Time will tell. In any case, we are now presented with the first images of an electric SUV, which for the time being does not bear a name.
Aehra’s firstborn appears to be a rather extravagantly shaped tall legged, who seeks the middle ground between a supercar and an SUV. The powertrain and expected specifications are still silent in all languages. However, Aehra promises that it will ‘exceed all known standards’ when it comes to comfort, space, driving experience and customer satisfaction. It targets brands such as Porsche and Mercedes-Benz with cars that cost above €150,000. Ambitious words for a company that has existed for several months. The car we see here will be shown in its entirety in October. A sedan will follow later, which will also be unveiled this year. The cars should be on the market in 2025. So they still have some time.
