Answer
Dear Oliver,
a logical question, but in principle the heart feels very little of the position of your body. On the one hand, the heart hangs, as it were, via the large blood vessels, and is surrounded by the heart membrane, which is also attached to various structures in the chest. So the heart will move very little (only the tip will shift slightly to the left), and this movement will not affect its operation at all. Only in the very rare congenital absence of a heart membrane can a problem arise in exceptional circumstances.
So you can sleep as you prefer.
