Is ketchup healthy for the prostate?

I was once told that tomato ketchup would be healthy for the prostate.

Answer

Recent research continues to confirm that lycopenes (a compound found in the highest concentration in cooked tomatoes) do indeed protect against prostate cancer. If ketchup is made from cooked tomatoes (I’m not a cook), then ketchup protects against prostate cancer.
