Welcome Drako Dagon

Tech Valhalla Silicon Valley will soon be the birthplace of a very striking electric SUV. We are not talking about a model from a brand like Lucid, but about the much smaller Drako Motors. That will pull the curtain on the Dragon in a few days, an electric ‘super-SUV’ with both a fierce drivetrain and a stubborn shape.
We can well imagine that you have not heard of Drako Motors before. Drako Motors was founded in 2013 and presented its first model in 2019: the Drako GTE, based on the Karma Revero (photos 10 to 12). The Drako GTE is a fully electric four-door sedan with four electric motors producing 1,217 hp. He is soon joined by a model who goes one step further. On November 17, Drako Motors will pull the digital canvas of the Dragon, an electric SUV with four electric motors that together produce no less than 2,000 horsepower. With that thump of electric power, the Drako Dragon stomps to 97 km/h (60 mph) in 1.9 seconds.

The Drako Dragon has two huge gull-wing doors.
The Drako Dragon promises to be a striking colossus. Drako Motors has shown several teaser plates of its upcoming electric powerhouse in recent months, showing a coupe-like SUV with only two doors. On both sides of the carriage, the Dragon has a huge gull-wing door that provides access to the interior.
Despite its 2,000 hp, the Drako Dragon does not seem to be an ultra-sporty model. Drako speaks of an SUV with five seats, ample luggage space and an interior that is tailored to luxury. In addition, the Dragon must also be ‘old-fashioned comfortable’. The carriage that is folded around the carbon fiber base was drawn in Italy, although it is not yet known which design studio is involved in the design of the Dragon.
