Rimac Nevera is the fastest electric car in the world

Fast, eh?

Rimac Nevera is the fastest electric car in the world

Electric cars are generally not known for their high top speed. With the Nevera, Rimac proves like no other that electric cars can also accelerate at an absurdly high speed. The Rimac Nevera can call itself the fastest electric car in the world.

In mid-2021, Rimac presented the Nevera, the no less than 1,914 hp production version of the C_Two. The Rimac Nevera already won the title of ‘fastest accelerating production car in the world’ in August 2021 and can now also call itself the fastest electric production car in the world.

Rimac gave a top speed of no less than 412 km / h for the Nevara. The electric supercar has now actually achieved that top speed. Nevera reached this absurd speed on the oval Automotive Testing-Papenburg track in Germany. On that oval are two long dead straight stretches that, at 4 kilometers each, were apparently long enough for the Nevera to reach its top speed. The record-breaking Nevera was on street-legal Michelin Cup 2R tires that were monitored by a Michelin expert during the record attempt. Behind the wheel was Miro Zrnčević, test and development driver at Rimac.
