How do you tell that a snail is a girl or boy?

Asker: Nikki, 9 years old

Answer

You can’t, because snails are hermaphrodites or hermaphrodites. This means that they are ‘both male and female’ and therefore have both ovaries (ovaries) and testes (testes). When two animals mate, they therefore have a choice: an egg cell from animal A can be fertilized by a sperm cell from animal B, but it can just as well be the other way around.
