Fans of the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade are in luck in the UK. Honda UK has launched a very special, but also very limited edition of the Fireblade, in honor of John McPils’ 100th TT earlier this year.
With us, the sale of Supersport motorcycles may have had their day, but not on the other side of the channel, where quite a few Fireblades are sold every year. In any case, more than the Panigale V4 and S 1000 RR, which are about the only two models with us that can still be worn.

The 2022 CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP is packed with MotoGP technology, RC213V inspired aerodynamics, Öhlins Smart Electronic Control (SE-C) 43mm NPX front forks and TT-36 rear shock and Brembo brakes. In honor of the 30th year of the Fireblade, Honda has produced a limited edition 30th Anniversary model. And it is this already special bike that forms the basis of the new John McGuinness 100th Start replica.
By default, the details set it apart; on start up there is a ‘Ring of Fire’ screen animation as the screen loads. The serial number is laser engraved on the top yoke and the 30th anniversary logos can be found on the Smart Key and laser engraved on the Akrapovic muffler, confirming the machine’s special place in history. from Honda is highlighted.
