I would like to know what beetroot is good for?
Answer
Beetroot (Beta vulgaris) has been known since ancient times. There it was used by the Romans against feverish conditions.
Red beets contain a number of essential minerals and vitamins:
• rich in folic acid
• rich in potassium
• rich in beta carotene, calcium and iron (in a form that the body can absorb well)
Beetroot purifies the body (good for kidneys) and positively stimulates the digestive tract. In addition, they have traditionally been used for diseases related to the blood. For example, the American Heart Association published that eating beets helps against high blood pressure.
In short, healthy vegetables those beets! Whether you eat them as beet soup, beet juice, raw or warm!
