You make biodiesel with oil or fat. in a first step, the triglycerides contained in the oil are broken down into free fatty acids and glycerol or glycerine.
the response looks like this:
The product with number 4 is glycerol.
For every molecule of tryglyceride (1) 1 molecule of glycerol is formed.
How many grams you can get from a kilo is not so easy to say because there are many different fatty acids, each with a different mass.
To be able to estimate how much glycerol you will get, you first need to know which fat you are starting from.
Enough glycerol is formed for it to simply be considered waste, it is purified and resold where necessary.
Hopefully this answer is enough for you, if not let me know.
Kind regards
