You can become pregnant immediately after removing your IUD; both with a copper IUD and with a hormone IUD.

It is true that you can become pregnant when the IUD has just been removed and that the mucous membrane of the uterus has not yet been sufficiently stimulated. To avoid that problem, it is best to let your periods pass once and then try to get pregnant.
