One more year!

From 2024, Lancia will introduce new models for the first time in many years, but until then, the current Lancia Ypsilon – which has been built and sold only in Italy for a while – has to last one more year. That’s why the brand gives its little city one last upgrade.
The current and third generation of the Lancia Ypsilon has only been delivered in Italy for a few years now. The model debuted in 2011 in several European markets, but disappeared there towards the end of the previous decade. The Ypsilon is irreverently said to be a chic-looking five-door Fiat 500, because it shares its base with it. Today it is only available in Italy with the mild-hybrid 1-liter three-cylinder with 70 hp. This means that the car still perfectly meets the wishes of urban Italians, because Lancia is still not taking it off the market.
In fact, the Italian who orders an Ypsilon from now on will receive a slightly updated variant. Nothing changes externally, although the little one is now available in the new greenish color that can be seen on the only photo that Lancia throws into the world with the news. Furthermore, wireless versions of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are new features and you can now wirelessly charge your phone in the Ypsilon. From now on you can also opt for a new top version: the ‘GPL Ecochic’. It has seat covers made of recycled plastic, green details in the interior and blue dashboard frames.
The Lancia Ypsilon is expected to be for sale in Italy until the next one finally comes to relieve it. A fresh nose was allowed to get the car last year, so in that respect it can still be used for a while. For a bit. The Ypsilon costs in Italy from €15,150.
