Swedish premium electric mobility brands Polestar and CAKE are launching a second Polestar limited edition of the all-electric Makka. The latest special version comes in the special sky color of the electric roadster concept that Polestar presented earlier this year.

The fact that the world is changing was clearly visible last month at the EICMA in Milan, where, in addition to many Chinese, many new electrical brands could also be spotted, whether or not also made in China.
This includes CAKE, founded in 2016 by Swedish entrepreneur Stefan Itterborn, who, after 30 years of experience in design, product development and communication, was looking for a new challenge and founded his new company CAKE.
From the start, the goal was to develop electric motors that would combine excitement with accountability, while inspiring the shift to a zero-emission society. The design team’s mantra was “light, quiet and clean.”
In January 2018, this resulted in the Kalk, a lightweight (86 kilo) off-road model with a high-torque (280Nm) electric motor, with a top speed of 90 km/h, a range of 85 kilometers and a charging time of 0-8% in 2 hours. to a 220V socket.
The Makka followed the Kalk, although strictly speaking it is not a motorcycle but a 45 km moped. The first CAKE Makka Polestar edition, in the Polestar Snow matte color and with special Polestar design features, was launched in 2021 and immediately sold out. Reason for the Swedes to follow up on this.
In addition to the unique color sky, the second Polestar edition is also characterized by the slim headlight and the mufflers of the high-quality brand Öhlins. It is also equipped with a removable and adjustable luggage carrier for boxes and child seats, making this electric commuter even more flexible.
The CAKE Makka Polestar edition has a top speed of 45 km/h and offers two driving modes for extended range or balanced performance. The second Polestar edition will be available from 5 December 2022 exclusively for selected Polestar markets via the Polestar Additions webshop. It costs € 5,300 and is delivered directly by CAKE.
