Kawasaki launches 2023 e-magazine

At the EICMA in Milan, Kawasaki announced that it would launch two electric motorcycles next year, but that is not the only thing Kawasaki has renewed for next year. For convenience, Team Green has put the complete range for 2023 in a clear e-magazine.

Kawasaki launches 2023 e-magazine

A year after Kawasaki announced in its future plans that it would literally go green in the coming years with the launch of electric, hybrid and hydrogen engines, that announcement was made concrete at the EICMA in Milan with the news that two electrically powered engines will be launched in 2023. introduced: the Z BEV and Ninja BEV.

Of course these are not the names under which the models are marketed, but internal project names, but it does give an idea of what to expect: a naked EV and a streamlined EV, as in an electric extension of the Z and Ninja family.

The only tip that was lifted further from the shutter was that both engines are homologated at 15 hp and are therefore suitable for the A1 driving license, but we now know from experience that ‘only’ 15 hp on an electric motor is really not a limitation, because an electric motor has a constant torque available from the first revolution up to the limiter. Unless it’s been scaled back electrically, but at 15 horsepower that won’t be the case.

In addition to the two EV models, Kawasaki also announced the new Ninja H2 SX SE, which is now the most complete motorcycle on the market thanks to an automatic high beam. And the most unique, thanks to that canary in the Supercharger whistling merrily.

Also in the affordable middle class, two of its assets, the Ninja 650 and Z 650, had given the same motor update as they had done with the Versys 650 this year: the addition of traction control, which can be adjusted and switched off.

All that news can now be read again in the 2023 Kawasaki e-magazine, in addition to the continuous models that have not been changed from a technical point of view, but have been given new fresh colors.
