Only hours after the bikes were unveiled, the limited series of 260+260 units of the Panigale V4 Bagnaia 2022 World Champion Replica and Panigale V4 Bautista 2022 World Champion Replica are completely sold out.
During the “Campioni in Piazza” event, where the double success in MotoGP and World Superbike was celebrated with the fans, two limited replicas were unveiled by Ducati, which would be released in a limited series of 260 units.
It concerned two special versions of the Panigale V4 S, one in the colors of Pecco Bagnaia and one in the colors of Alvaro Bautista, the two 2022 world champions. The production series of 260 units is a reference to the year 1926, the year Ducati was founded.
After the bikes were unveiled, both series were already reserved within hours, with many Ducatists wanting to enrich their collection with both machines. The entire process of selling all 260+260 engines took just a few days.
Francesco Milicia, VP Global Sales & After Sales Ducati:
“2022 has been an incredible year for Ducati, both on track and in the market, confirming the integration and continuous transfer of technology and expertise between production and racing that is unrivaled in the world of motorcycling.”
“We thought the best way to share the 2022 successes with the most passionate Ducatisti was to provide them with exclusive, numbered bikes, individually signed by Pecco and Álvaro. In this day and age, where our brand is as solid as ever and projected to the future, we also wanted to pay homage to our history, by recalling the founding of Ducati, which dates back to 1926, with both replicas.”
