Electric crossover as the first Togg in the Netherlands

The Turkish Togg currently focuses mainly on the domestic market, but also has ambitions to sell its products beyond Turkish borders. Togg also wants to enter the Dutch market around 2025.
AutoWeek spoke extensively with Togg CEO Gürcan Karakas about a year ago. It then became clear that the then new and ambitious Turkish car brand initially focused on the domestic market, but later also wanted to expand to Northern and Central European markets. Nu.nl has now also sat down with CEO Karakas, with the biggest outcome being that we now know more about when we can expect Togg in the Netherlands.
At the beginning of 2025, Togg wants to set foot on Dutch soil for the first time. In 2025, it wants to market an electric crossover in both Scandinavian countries and the Netherlands that will operate in the segment of cars such as the Peugeot e-2008, Kia Niro EV and the soon-to-be new Hyundai Kona Electric. In its home country Turkey, it will launch an electric SUV in the C-segment at the end of this year.
It does not stop with that electric crossover. For example, AutoWeek could already report that an electric sedan and an electric fastback-like model based on the concept car that Togg showed in 2022 during the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas will follow. Those cars must have a WLTP range of about 500 kilometers and power outputs of up to 400 hp.
