Difficult customer

The Fiat Bravo is not an enthusiast’s car pure sang and frankly, the question is whether he ever will be. So why are we serving you one? Well, this is a specimen that perhaps deserves an enthusiast for several reasons.
Where the Fiat Stilo was sometimes criticized for its somewhat well-behaved appearance, that was actually a bit of a reaction to predecessors Bravo and Brava, which were found to be a bit too extravagant. You may not be able to imagine it very well in 2023, but the Bravo was a nice quirky thing to see in its time. At least, especially the five-door called Brava, with its slippery butt and rear lights divided over three separate floors. However, quite a few Dutch people were charmed by it and the Bravo and Brava were no strangers to the streets in the 1990s and the first decade of this century, together with the Marea. Nowadays yes. There are not many left.
It is quite remarkable that this Fiat Bravo is among the survivors. It really splashes that the first owner was on top of his or her money when ordering the car. In any case, also with the intention to enjoy the car for quite a long time, because their paths only separated after eight years. However, the first was not the most loyal owner. That was the second owner, who drove it until 2018. With the white paint, the non-painted bumpers, the hubcaps, the window winders and the lack of a tachometer (and so on) you might expect that you want to switch to a more generously equipped car a little earlier. We take our hats off to the people who have remained faithful to the Bravo in all its simplicity for so long.
It is precisely that simplicity that the car might still give an enthusiast a nice autumn of its life. After all, the car should rather belong to someone with a soft spot for extremely unpretentious cars than from someone with a soft spot for the Fiat Bravo. There are more of people in the first category. It is therefore to be hoped that such a person shows up to pick up the Bravo. At €1,500, the asking price is not particularly high, although you cannot really call it cheap either. What does argue in favor of the car is that it has only had three owners and the odometer is at just under 70,000 km.
What do you think, will there be a fan for this? Or is this a car that is too good for scrapping, but too unattractive for a new owner?
