Unique?

Lately, more normal cars with a far from normal mileage have appeared. So again, because this Opel Corsa from 1986 has only covered just over 12,000 km!
The first Opel Corsa was marketed as a smooth compact car with which Opel mainly wanted to appeal to young drivers. That worked out quite nicely, although of course enough Corsas also ended up with the somewhat older buyers. That probably happened with this Opel Corsa, because we don’t really have another explanation for the downright bizarre low mileage. This Corsa was purchased new for very sporadic (possibly very short) trips and was only used for that for years.
The first (and only private) owner owned the car until 2017, so the Corsa has been in the same place for no less than 31 very quiet years. A dry place, presumably, because only by driving little, such a Corsa A can’t really look that way after 36 years. After all, they wanted to rust, which does not seem to be a problem with this copy. Whatever the bulk of his life has looked like, the past few years have been really quiet. It has been in the hands of car companies since 2017. In the past five years, the Corsa has probably been for sale several times for a hefty price, in the hope that an enthusiast will show up who wants to catch this particularly virgin copy.
The stakes only seem to have been a bit too high and even now a particularly hefty price is attached to it: €5,900. Yes, it is a special copy with such a position, but it remains just a Corsa 1.2 S LS, which is actually nothing special. Of course you have to count on an extensive technical check and the necessary key work to be able to get back on the road with a car with so little experience and that has stood still for so long. So some money is still needed, unless you want to put the Opel straight into a museum. The latter actually seems most appropriate, because find another Corsa that is ‘fresher’.
