Abarth 695 75° Anniversario

Although Abarth’s European attention seems to be mainly focused on sporty electric models, it casually puts the 1.4 T-Jet four-cylinder petrol engine in the spotlight. Meet the Abarth 695 75° Anniversario, a limited edition party animal that is also part of Abarth’s 75th anniversary celebration.

The electric Abarth 500e will soon be joined by a 240 hp Abarth variant of the electric Fiat 600e. The Abarth 500e and 600e are certainly not the only models the company is involved with. The brand also supplies sporty versions of the Fiat 500 with combustion engines in the form of the 595 and 695. The 595 and 695 both have the 1.4 T-Jet petrol engine under the hood, which is of course more powerful in the 695. Abarth is now introducing a special version of the 695. Its full name is Abarth 695 75° Anniversario.

1,368 of these will soon be available worldwide. That number is of course a reference to the number of cc’s of the 1.4 T-Jet. That four-cylinder has a Garrett turbo and produces 180 hp and 250 Nm. The Abarth 695 reaches a speed of 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds. Its top speed is 225 km/h. This means that the 695 reaches 100 km/h from a standstill earlier than the electric Abarth 500e (7.0 s). Its top speed is also higher.

The special version has Koni FSD silencers all around, stacked exhaust pipes, valves in its exhaust system and has special stickers with unique logos. On the roof we find a gold-colored image of the Abarth scorpion. Privacy glass, gold-colored Abarth emblems and Anniversario stickers that resemble the head of a piston: it is above all a visual feast. The list of extras continues, including special gold-colored 17-inch alloys, black Alcantara decoration on the dashboard and special sports seats. Of course, the necessary logos and badges cannot be missing in the party favor.
