AC Schnitzer has his goodies ready for the new BMW M3 Touring and that includes a tune that raises the peak power of the six-in-line to 610 hp. The German tuner also developed a whole range for the appearance of the first M3 Touring ever, including spoiler and splitter for extra downforce.

BMW gets the hands of the car enthusiast together with the new M3 Touring. While competitors Mercedes-Benz and Audi in the D segment often delivered fast station wagons, BMW refused until recently to turn the M3 into a Touring. Until recently – and that generates a lot of positive attention. Although it remains to be seen whether the station M3 is not only popular with enthusiasts but also with buyers, AC Schnitzer is already trying to seduce the latter with upgrades for the M3 Touring.

The tuner developed an exhaust system and a software tune for the car that together lift the peak power to 610 hp. To keep things in line at the higher speeds, AC Schnitzer also offers different springs and dampers and more downforce for the M3 Touring. The latter is generated by a front splitter and rear spoiler specially developed for the station wagon, which are said to be good for an additional 40 kg of downforce. The other adjustments can also be ordered for the M3 sedan, regardless of their form. BMW only supplies the M3 Touring as a Competition, so with an automatic transmission and four-wheel drive.

To complement the visual violence of the splitter and rear spoiler, AC Schnitzer offers a choice of additional black elements on the outside, as well as ‘upgrades’ for the interior. The brand designed, among other things, a new steering wheel, paddle shifters and pedals. To top it off, you can go to the Germans for new 20-inch wheels that are lighter than original BMW ones.
