Add gifs and more overview thanks to Snapchat update

Snapchat has released an update. You can now add gif files to photos and videos. In addition, tabs will be added soon, which should make the app feel clearer.

Snapchat update: add gifs and more overview

The most notable addition is the ability to add animated stickers, or gif files. You can choose from the entire Giphy catalog. On top of that, some unique gifs have been created by the Snapchat team. Whatever you want to portray: there is always a matching gif. You can add animated stickers to both photos and videos.

Keep an overview with tabs

In addition, they listened to the criticism of users and made the app more clear. From now on, the ‘Friends’ and ‘Explore’ pages will make a clearer distinction between stories from friends, group chats, and stories from professionals. Snapchat does this by adding tabs.

Since the ‘new jacket’ of the app, Snapchatters have complained stone and bone: the new design would be unclear. Despite this, director Evan Spiegel recently indicated that there is no intention of withdrawing the new design.
